In addition to the standard billboards and digital media buys, we partnered with Branded Arts and eight local artists to create large-scale murals in eight different markets.
Each mural depicted the artist’s interpretation of sound and discovery and included a QR code that drove passersby to playlists built by the artists themselves. The team strategically chose street-level locations in high-traffic areas to encourage pedestrian engagement. According to several brand studies, these murals connected with local communities on a deeper, more authentic level.
Getting Manic With Halsey
We celebrated the launch of the campaign with a Pandora Live performance with Halsey in Brooklyn, NY. We believe she exemplified our core message of “All-New, All You” through her music and persona, and was the perfect artist to close our 2019 and bring us into the next decade.
The event was broadcast live on the biggest screen in Times Square and featured a silent disco so that more fans and passerbys could join in on the party.
This was a completely cross-functional effort amongst our In-House Agency and was a huge success in elevating brand relevance.
